About Jamie Jacobs, Tonawanda Seneca, Turtle Clan:
Jamie teaches at the Seneca Language Adult Immersion Program and he also works at the Rochester Museum and Science Center. He's worked at the museum for 15 years doing research for the Seneca archeological, ethnological, and anthropological collections at the museum. He does extensive research on Haudenosaunee history and language
and applies it to teaching our people based on physical objects in the museums collections that date back thousands of years. Jamie is also a speaker and ceremonial custodian of the Tonawanda Longhouse and works to perpetuate the ceremonies of The Haudenosaunee.
