The Kizhaay Community Facilitator training trains identifying males in the Kizhaay Anishinaabe Niin 12 week program. Attendees learn the content and process of the program delivery and the skills needed to conduct it within their communities. Providing supportive tools and resources to facilitate the program in ending violence against Indigenous women, girls, Two-Spirit and gender diverse people.
This virtual 5-day training includes in-depth discussions, analysis, and engaging activities related to interpersonal violence, impacts of colonization, and the historical context of violence within Indigenous communities.
Participants will gain facilitation skills, develop anti-violence campaigns, and apply trauma-informed practices for group facilitation.
